Scheduling is a date driven process and scheduling on a daily basis can create alot of files (published schedules and saves). For these two reasons MaxScheduler uses a file naming convention to associate Saves and Publishes according to the current schedule date. This way all the files named are in an organized manner which make the software easier to use.
Saving is done through menu File | Save. MaxScheduler will label the save file using the Scheduled date which is the top of the schedule. If multiple saves are done on the same day, then MaxScheduler adds on a alphabetic letter to specify the order of saves for that day. For example, mx070401a.SAV denotes the file was created on 2007-04-01 and was the first save for the day (letter a).
Save files are stored in the Save directory and have the extension *.SAV.
